A game that has been described as disgusting, sick, and vile will be making its way to Xbox One and PS4 soon.
This game, as controversial as it was, has been largely forgotten over the last 25 years. In fact, the full-motion genre itself is rather non-existent. However, the release of Late Shift, a band new full motion game, has helped bring the genre back to life. Now the 1992 Sega CD horror game Night Trap seems ready to enter the new generation on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
This game has the look and feel of a low budget slasher movie. Seemingly no effort has been put into story progression and character development. Really, Night Trap is mostly known for it’s violence. The game was first pulled from shelves at Toys R Us before being pulled from publication by Sega. It was an incredibly negatively received game for its violence. However, it isn’t terrible by todays standards of violence in video games.
Night Trap will be released on Xbox One and PS4 and according to Limited Run Games Twitter account (@LimitedRunGames) it feature three different covers based on the three different Sega CD releases.
